- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 2 cups biscuit dough
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the onion, carrots, celery, and cook until soft.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk.
- Add the chicken, peas, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough on top of the filling.
