A traditional Chinese New Year dish made from glutinous rice flour, symbolizing good luck and prosperity.
Ingredients

- 2 cups glutinous rice flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup red bean paste
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix glutinous rice flour and sugar in a bowl.
- Add water gradually and stir until smooth.
- Pour half the mixture into a greased steaming dish.
- Add red bean paste on top of the batter.
- Cover with remaining batter.
- Steam for 30-40 minutes until cooked.
- Let cool, then slice and serve.
Notes
- Use a bamboo steamer for best results.
- Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Serve with sesame seeds sprinkled on top.
