A festive menu template for Chinese New Year celebrations.
Ingredients
- Rice – 2 cups
- Chicken – 500g
- Broccoli – 1 head
- Carrots – 2
- Soy sauce – 1/4 cup
- Ginger – 1 tbsp
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Sesame oil – 2 tbsp
- Green onions – 2
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- In a pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add chicken and cook until browned.
- Add broccoli and carrots, and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
- Add soy sauce and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve chicken stir-fry over rice and garnish with green onions.
Notes
- This dish can be made with tofu for a vegetarian option.
- Adjust the soy sauce based on your taste preference.
- Serve with spring rolls for a complete meal.
