Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup red bean paste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- Pour in water and knead until smooth.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
- Place a spoonful of red bean paste on each circle.
- Fold the dough over and seal the edges.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Notes
- Ensure the edges are well sealed to prevent filling from leaking.
- Store in an airtight container.
