Ingredients

- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cream, and butter.
- Heat over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
- Continue to boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and crushed peppermint.
- Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
