Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cupcakes cool completely.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make frosting.
- Frost the cupcakes and decorate with sprinkles and candy canes.
