- 1 whole turkey (12–14 pounds)
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rub the turkey with butter and season with salt and pepper.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing mix and secure the openings.
- Roast the turkey for about 3 to 4 hours, basting occasionally.
- In a pot, boil potatoes until tender, then mash with milk and sour cream.
- Steam green beans until crisp-tender.
- Serve the turkey with cranberry sauce and sides.
