- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup gravy
- 1 dozen dinner rolls
- 1 pumpkin pie
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the stuffing by mixing stuffing mix, chicken broth, and melted butter.
- Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- During the last 30 minutes, remove the foil to brown the skin.
- Cook mixed vegetables according to package instructions.
- Prepare mashed potatoes and gravy.
- Warm the dinner rolls in the oven.
- Serve the turkey with stuffing, vegetables, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, and rolls. Finish with pumpkin pie for dessert.
Notes
- Thaw the turkey in the refrigerator for several days before cooking.
- Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
- Adjust cooking time based on the weight of the turkey.
