Description

Delicious and festive Christmas macarons filled with creamy ganache.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g almond flour
  • 200g powdered sugar
  • 150g egg whites
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • Red and green food coloring
  • 300g dark chocolate
  • 150g heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour and powdered sugar.
  3. Whip egg whites until soft peaks form, then gradually add granulated sugar.
  4. Fold the almond mixture into the egg whites.
  5. Divide the batter and add food coloring.
  6. Pipe circles onto a baking sheet.
  7. Let them rest for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Let them cool completely.
  10. Heat cream and pour it over chopped chocolate to make ganache.
  11. Sandwich two macaron shells with ganache.
