Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour and salt.
  3. Add chilled butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in ice water until dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough and fit it into a pie pan.
  6. In another bowl, mix dried fruits, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  7. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
  8. Cover with another layer of dough and seal the edges.
  9. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
