  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the stuffing by sautéing onion, carrots, and celery in butter.
  3. Add the herbs, salt, and pepper to the mixture.
  4. Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing.
  5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth over it.
  6. Cover with foil and roast for 2 hours.
  7. Remove the foil and roast for another hour, basting occasionally.
  8. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
  9. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
