Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup almond paste
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and powdered sugar until crumbly.
  3. Add egg yolk and vanilla; mix until dough forms.
  4. Press dough into tart pans and bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, blend almond paste, cranberry sauce, walnuts, orange zest, and cinnamon.
  6. Fill baked tart shells with the mixture.
  7. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Can substitute cranberry sauce with other fruit preserves.
  • Top with whipped cream if desired.
