Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Warm milk and butter until melted.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
  3. Add warm milk and egg to the dry ingredients.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes.
  5. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Spread brown sugar and cinnamon on the dough.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into pieces.
  9. Shape the pieces into a Christmas tree on a baking sheet.
  10. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  12. Mix icing sugar with water and drizzle on top before serving.
