Instructions

- Cut the pastry into the shape of a Christmas tree.
- Spread almond paste evenly over the pastry.
- Fold the branches of the tree to create a layered effect.
- Brush the beaten egg over the pastry.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
