A festive and easy-to-make puff pastry shaped like a Christmas tree.
Ingredients

- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup of pesto
- 1 tablespoon of flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out one puff pastry sheet on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into a Christmas tree shape.
- Spread pesto on the cut pastry.
- Sprinkle cheese over the pesto.
- Place the second pastry sheet on top and cut out the tree shape again.
- Cut slits in the pastry to create branches.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Use any cheese you prefer.
- Can add toppings like olives or sun-dried tomatoes.
