Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate ganache

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
  5. Spread the batter onto a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove and let cool.
  8. Whip the cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  9. Spread cream over the cooled cake.
  10. Roll the cake into a log shape.
  11. Cover with chocolate ganache.
  12. Chill before serving.

  • Chill the log for better slicing.
