Description

A sweet and aromatic cinnamon focaccia bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil. Stir until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Punch down the dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet.
  7. Mix cinnamon and brown sugar, then sprinkle it over the dough.
  8. If desired, add chopped nuts on top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before slicing.
