- 1 can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (12.4 oz)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/2 cup icing (from the cinnamon roll can)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Open the cinnamon roll dough and cut each roll into quarters.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the cinnamon roll pieces to the egg mixture, gently folding to combine.
- If using, sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over the mixture.
- Pour the entire mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with icing before serving.
Notes
- For a chocolate variation, add chocolate chips to the mixture.
- You can substitute almond milk for a dairy-free option.
- Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream for added richness.
