Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix warm milk and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients.
  4. Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon on the dough.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  8. Place slices in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
  10. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla for icing and spread it on warm rolls.
