  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix well.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts, if using.
  7. Drop tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
  9. Let cool on sheets for a few minutes before transferring to racks.
