- 1 cup of Arborio rice
- 4 cups of whole milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- In a large pot, combine the rice, milk, sugar, and salt.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to low heat.
- Cook, stirring frequently, for about 30-40 minutes until the rice is tender.
- Stir in vanilla extract, cinnamon, and raisins.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Reheat with extra milk for a creamier texture.
- Top with additional cinnamon before serving if desired.
