Description
A cob loaf is a round bread loaf that is hollowed out and filled with a creamy dip or spread.

- 1 large cob loaf
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped chives
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cut the top off the cob loaf and hollow out the inside.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, grated cheese, chives, and bell pepper.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Fill the hollowed cob with the mixture.
- Place the lid back on the cob and wrap it in foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until golden.
Notes
- Serve with vegetable sticks or crackers.
- Can be made a day in advance and baked before serving.
