Description

A homemade version of Taco Bell’s popular nacho fries.


Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and cut the potatoes into thin fries.
  3. In a bowl, toss fries with vegetable oil and taco seasoning.
  4. Spread fries on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  6. Remove fries and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  7. Return to oven for 5 minutes until cheese melts.
  8. Serve with nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, and green onions.
