Description
A deliciously satisfying classic burger with grilled onions and melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 Whataburger beef patties
- 2 slices of Texas toast
- 2 slices of American cheese
- 1/2 cup of grilled onions
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of Texas toast.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down on the skillet.
- Layer one beef patty on the bread.
- Add a slice of cheese and half of the grilled onions on top of the patty.
- Place the second beef patty on top of the onions.
- Add the second slice of cheese and the remaining onions.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook the other side.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.

- Adjust cooking time based on desired doneness.
- Use fresh onions for best flavor.
