Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place in a baking dish.
  4. Spread barbecue sauce on top of the meatloaf.
  5. In another bowl, mix mashed potatoes and cheese.
  6. Spread the potato mixture over the meatloaf.
  7. Bake for 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
