Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
  3. Stir in flour and paprika; cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in seafood stock until smooth.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Add crab and shrimp; cook until shrimp is pink.
  7. Stir in heavy cream; heat through.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Garnish with parsley before serving.
