Description
A rich and creamy seafood bisque made with crab and shrimp.
Ingredients

- 1 lb crab meat
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cups seafood stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Melt butter in a pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
- Stir in flour and paprika; cook for 2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in seafood stock until smooth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add crab and shrimp; cook until shrimp is pink.
- Stir in heavy cream; heat through.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh seafood for best flavor.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper.
