Description

Cranberry bliss bars are delicious dessert bars that combine the tartness of cranberries with the sweetness of white chocolate and cream cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  5. Add egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
  6. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until combined.
  7. Fold in cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  8. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before frosting.
  11. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  12. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled bars.
  13. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Can be frozen for longer storage.
