Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup chopped apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries and remove any stems.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst.
- Add chopped apples and cinnamon. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped nuts.
- Let the mixture cool completely.
- Serve topped with whipped cream.

- You can substitute apples with pears.
