Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  4. Add flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder; stir until smooth.
  5. Gradually add milk, stirring continuously until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in 3 cups of cheese until melted.
  7. Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce and mix well.
  8. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
  9. Top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
