A rich and creamy shrimp Alfredo pasta dish that combines succulent shrimp with a velvety sauce.

- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low, then stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss to coat pasta and shrimp in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes.
- Experiment with different types of pasta if desired.
- Serve with garlic bread for a complete meal.
