Description

Creamy spinach mushroom shrimp shells are a delightful pasta dish featuring large shells filled with a rich and flavorful mixture of shrimp, spinach, and mushrooms in a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup spinach, fresh
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic.
  4. Add mushrooms and sauté until soft.
  5. Add shrimp and cook until pink.
  6. Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.
  7. In a bowl, mix ricotta, cream, and half of the mozzarella.
  8. Combine the shrimp mixture with the ricotta mixture.
  9. Stuff the cooked shells with the filling.
  10. Place stuffed shells in a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella.
  11. Bake for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  • Use fresh or frozen shrimp.
