Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove chicken from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off.
- Dredge chicken in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating.
- Fry chicken in batches for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Drain on paper towels and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
