A quick and easy crispy popcorn chicken recipe that can be made in 30 minutes.

- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dip each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then in the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Carefully place the coated chicken in the hot oil.
- Fry for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double coat the chicken.
- Try using panko breadcrumbs for a lighter texture.
- Add spices to the breadcrumbs for different flavor profiles.
