- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup shredded cabbage
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour and water to form a dough. Knead until smooth, then cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix ground pork, green onions, cabbage, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Roll the dough into a log and cut into small pieces. Roll each piece into a thin circle.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle. Fold and pleat the edges to seal.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place potstickers in the skillet and fry until golden brown.
- Add a splash of water to the skillet and cover to steam for 5 minutes.
- Remove the lid and let them crisp for an additional 2 minutes. Serve hot.
Notes
- For a vegan version, substitute ground pork with finely chopped mushrooms or tofu.
- You can add other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers to the filling.
- Serve with soy sauce or vinegar for dipping.
