Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, egg, and cold water until just combined.
- Dip each shrimp into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
- Carefully place the shrimp in the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the shrimp and drain on paper towels.
- Serve with tempura dipping sauce.
