Description

A simple and delicious recipe for crock pot lasagna that layers pasta, cheese, and meat sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crock pot.
  4. Layer 4 uncooked lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  5. Add half of the ricotta mixture, half of the ground beef, and one-third of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Add another layer of marinara sauce.
  7. Repeat the layers twice more, finishing with marinara sauce and remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.

Notes

  • Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Use no-boil lasagna noodles for easier preparation.
