A simple and delicious recipe for crock pot lasagna that layers pasta, cheese, and meat sauce.

- 12 lasagna noodles, uncooked
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crock pot.
- Layer 4 uncooked lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Add half of the ricotta mixture, half of the ground beef, and one-third of the mozzarella cheese.
- Add another layer of marinara sauce.
- Repeat the layers twice more, finishing with marinara sauce and remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
Notes
- Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before serving.
- Use no-boil lasagna noodles for easier preparation.
- Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
