Description

A hearty and flavorful crockpot chili that’s easy to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and bell pepper, and cook until soft.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the crockpot.
  4. Add the kidney beans, crushed tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve hot with your choice of toppings.

  • Top with cheese, sour cream, or green onions if desired.
