Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat and transfer beef to the crockpot.
- Add beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to add bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Top with cheese or sour cream if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
