Description

A simple and delicious crockpot lasagna recipe.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef and drain excess fat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Place 3 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
  5. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  6. Add a layer of ground beef and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers, ending with noodles and marinara sauce on top.
  8. Cover with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  9. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until noodles are tender.

Notes

  • Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Use no-boil lasagna noodles for easier preparation.
  • Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
