Description
A hearty crockpot pot roast cooked to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 lbs chuck roast
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Place the carrots, potatoes, and onion in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Place the roast on top of the vegetables.
- Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Remove the roast and vegetables, and let rest before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, sear the roast in a pan before placing it in the crockpot.
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
