Description

A crunchy chicken romesco sandwich with a flavorful sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cooked chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons romesco sauce
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan.
  2. Toast the bread until golden brown.
  3. Layer the chicken slices on one slice of bread.
  4. Add romesco sauce on top of the chicken.
  5. Place lettuce and cheese on top.
  6. Cover with the second slice of bread.
  7. Press down and cut in half.

Notes

  • Use whole grain bread for more fiber.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables.
  • Romesco sauce can be made ahead of time.
