Ingredients

- 2 pounds of potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheeses.
- Dab butter on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
- Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving for better texture.
- You can add cooked bacon for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
