- 4 chicken legs (thigh and drumstick connected)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, thyme, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the mixture evenly over the chicken legs.
- Place the chicken legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
- Marinate the chicken legs for a few hours for deeper flavor.
- Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
