- 12 large mushrooms
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove the stems from the mushrooms and finely chop them.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped mushroom stems, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the filling mixture.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the filling.
- Try different cheeses, like feta or cheddar, for varied flavors.
- Garnish with additional parsley for presentation.
