A simple and delicious bread pudding topped with a creamy vanilla sauce.
Ingredients

- 4 cups of bread cubes
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Add raisins if using and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set.
- While baking, prepare the vanilla sauce.
- In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch until thickened.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and remove from heat.
- Serve the bread pudding warm with the vanilla sauce on top.
