- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups egg noodles
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add diced onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté until vegetables soften.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add shredded chicken, thyme, parsley, and black pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add egg noodles and cook until tender, about 7 minutes.
- Season with salt to taste and serve hot.
