Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onions, carrots, and potatoes. Cook until softened.
- Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk until smooth.
- Add shredded chicken and peas. Cook until heated through.
- Remove from heat and let cool before using in pie crust.
