A simple and delicious homemade lasagna recipe that anyone can make.
Ingredients

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 4 noodles over the sauce.
- Add half of the ricotta mixture and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers: sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella.
- Top with remaining noodles, sauce, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a meat version, add cooked ground beef or sausage between layers.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
- This lasagna can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
