Description

A creamy and spicy cheese dip made with Rotel tomatoes and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 can Rotel diced tomatoes (10 oz)
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 can diced green chilies (4 oz)
  • 1/2 lb ground beef (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat (if using).
  2. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Add the Rotel tomatoes and diced green chilies to the skillet.
  4. Stir in the Velveeta cheese and mix well.
  5. Cook on low heat until the cheese melts, stirring frequently.
  6. Add garlic powder and onion powder, mix well.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
