  4. Place carrots, onions, and celery in the roasting pan.
  5. Place the turkey on top of the vegetables.
  6. Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
